    Yep, word on the street is mixed but a video iPod is the frontrunner. But looking at the invitation to the special event, there’s strong indication that movies are central to this. Movies on a video iPod, but also selling movies or videos on-line is also a possibility. The iTunes Music Store could become the iTunes Media Store instead.

    So you buy music, movies, or videos from iTMS. You can watch/listen on your computer or transfer to your newer iPod that has video out. Connect this iPod to your TV and watch your movie/video that way. Or how about a new AirPort Express wireless device with video out. Connect that to your home stereo system and watch movies streamed over the wireless network to your TV. I got the AirPort Express connected to my stereo for music and it works great. Adding video is the next logical step.

    And, all in time for Christmas buying!
