You Know You’re in the Wrong Crowd When…
So after reading a bunch of recent articles about the popularity and growing use of blogs and learning a thing or two from
Buzz Marketing with Blogs for Dummies, I suggested the use of an internal blog system at a workplace improvement meeting.
There’s been complaints that information is not being shared with other staff members and people not knowing what others are up to. After maintaining this site and keeping up with Wayne’s World and CCTWT, I see how blogs are a natural fit to keep people informed, provide a way to get feedback and comments, and is more effective than email for getting information out there.
But, I knew I was in the wrong crowd when they asked for a printed copy of this proposal. Sigh…

And you want me to come work with you folks? Don’t know if RDO is worth that. Plus no more office space, I no like sit on somebody’s lap while I work. I need my space.;)

I still think you should write the propsal. Make sure you incorporate setting up a dedicated “wireless-wide area network” so that people don’t need a desk or RDO all you need is a company provided powerbook, video ipod sun screen and shades. Then I believe everyone would be productive and energized ready to tackle anything.
It could happen…….
