AirMac Plasma Screen Rumor
PowerPage has a rumor about the possible introduction of the AirMac at next week’s Macworld Expo. The AirMacs are plasma HDTVs with either 42 or 50-inch screens. They’re not just displays though, powered with Intel’s Viiv architecture running OS X, and includes Bluetooth, WiFi, and a special remote. Estimated cost $2599 and $3299.
This is exactly what the Tabasco Man needs to make his leap into the HD world!

Sounds awesome, but that is too much money, especially since I got demoted back to Data Processing – Level 2.

Who knows, it may be the same price as getting all the other HD equipment separately. And the bonus, you’d be able to stream your iMovie masterpieces to the AirMac screen and whoo your invited guests (hint, hint).

Yes, I had to work hard, but I got that iMovie done before xmas so I could give it as part of a gift.

My TV gotta last until 2009. That is when analog transmission is going to be shutdown and the spectrum sold. Then the AirMac should be much more affordable.
