Boring Apple Special Event
Today’s Apple Special Event introducing new, fun products was kinda boring. No big surprises announced. Instead a revamped Mac Mini with an Intel processor was released along with the iPod Hi-Fi.
The iPod Hi-Fi is a rock solid, somewhat portable speaker system that pumps out crystal clear tunes. Cost is expensive at $349, but with people going crazy for the Bose SoundDock at $299, I guess the cost of the Hi-Fi is comparable. Looks like the Hi-Fi can crank out some serious sound compared to the SoundDock. I’ll pass unless it’s a gift or CCTWT giveaway! 😉
No DVR announcements from Apple yet. Although the new Mini is looking more and more like it could perform DVR functions. This article talks about using the new Mini for HDTV purposes. What’s HDTV? Go read up on CCTWT.

Waiting for the new iPod to come out. Then I can watch all my Seinfeld episodes whenever and wherever I want.
