More on Running Windows on a Mac
Doing a little more thinking about the new ability to run Windows on an Intel-based Mac, a bunch of new opportunities opens up. Especially for the business side, Apple is now a legit hardware vendor that can go head to head with HP and Dell. Are you tired of looking at that sorry Dell on your work desk? Me too. Gimme a workstation that’s sexy that can inspire me to do new things.
No wonder Apple didn’t announce this on their 30th Birthday that coincided with April Fools Day. Everyone would have thought this was a hoax, but Boot Camp is the real deal. Many reports from early adopters are saying Win XP runs quickly on Mac hardware.
On the home front, get one computer and run either XP or OS X as needed. XP when working from home and OS X when you really need to do work.
Boot Camp is a bold move by Apple, but that is the Apple Way.
