Before posting, I found your Hawaii’s sexiest link but didn’t think that was the same person in the video.
I think they bartered services. Spa treatments for using her likeness in advertisements or something like that.

Got to recant my story about bartering services. Someone knows Ms. Hoohuli and asked if she was interested in doing the commercial and she agreed.
