Searching for Diane Ako: Update #2
I’m still amazed at the amount of hits Pulpconnection gets from the Listmania: Hottest Local Newscasters poll. Logs show quite a few visitors every so often who check out this poll.
Because of the frequent hits, Pulpconnection is listed pretty high up for some of the newscasters mentioned. In March 2006, the Listmania post was #16 in Google’s search results for Diane Ako. Today, the post is listed at #4!! (go Google Diane Ako and see for yourself). For Stepanie Lum, the Pulpconnection post is listed at #8.
Due to this popularity, I’m really thinking it’s time for another Listmania. But instead of rehashing the same topic of newscasters, I’ll probably widen the field to include any local celebrity. Be on the lookout for an upcoming Pulpconnection Listmania.

I too have a lot of hits for Hawaii’s Sexiest with Radasha Hoohuli and Aureana Tseu as the search topic.

They can be your nominations for the upcoming Listmania: Hawaii’s Hottest Celebrities. Probably will crank it up after the MacWorld Expo next week Tuesday.

Is Kona Carmack still around? I saw her at Kahala Mall right after she hit the magazine stands and she looked great! Of course this was like 12 years ago.
Are you going to include celebs with local ties like Kelly Hu, Brooke Lee, Tia Carrere, et al?

Probably will limit the nominations to folks that stay in the Islands majority of the time. Want to keep this more local and focus on the smaller “celebs.”
And I’m keeping the definition of celeb pretty liberal. Even WW could qualify as a local celeb since he’s been featured on our blogging circles.
