Dancing with the Stars Season 4 Begins
The fourth season of Dancing with the Stars is here already. Wasn’t it too long ago that Emmitt Smith and Cheryl Burke won the disco ball trophy?
Due to a lack of time, I doubt I’ll be following this season as closely as previous years. Just not enough time to watch the show and the elimination show.
I did manage to catch some of this year’s dancers, and here are some thoughts:
- Laila Ali (Maksim Chmerkovskiy) – very graceful for a boxer. I guess floating like a butterfly runs in the genes. Maksim cut his hair.
- Billy Ray Cyrus (Karina Smirnoff) – missed this dance.
- Clyde Drexler (Elena Grinenko) – are you kidding me? Clyde at 6-7 and his partner is 5-4? This mismatched pairing was done on purpose.
- Joey Fatone (Kym Johnson) – the tubby *N Sync-er can still move but will rely on the talents of his partner. Already got a site hit with the search phrase of “kym johnson pics”.
- Shandi Finnessey (Brian Fortuna) – Who and who?
- Leeza Gibbons (Tony Dovolani) – missed this one, but this blog predicts she’ll be the first one to go.
- Heather Mills (Jonathan Roberts) – missed this one but reviews said her dance was graceful.
- Apolo Anton Ohno (Julianne Hough) – missed this one but expect a lot from this Olympian just cause of his youth and fitness.
- Paulina Porizkova (Alec Mazo) – no longer a supermodel but an elegant, classy dancer
- John Ratzenberger (Edyta Sliwinska) – Cliff Claven is the oldest dancer this year. Someone came to Pulpconnection looking for “dancer edyta sliwinska boobs.” Which factor matters more, age or boobs?
- Ian Ziering (Cheryl Burke) – channeling his inner Steve Sanders. Cheryl has a chance at a three-peat champion. She’s dating Matthew Lawrence, the brother of Joey?!
Can a female celebrity finally win? Would have to be Laila Ali to make this breakthrough. She better take advice from her dad:
The fight is won or lost far away from the witnesses, behind the lines, in the gym, and out there on the road; long before I dance under those lights.
