Loving Derrick Low
Sure, as a UH fan and No Ka Oi alum, I would have loved seeing Derrick Low playing for the Bows instead of heading for the Pac-10. And even though Washington State’s run in the NCAA post season is done, I know Derrick Low made the right choice seeing how the Bows didn’t even get invited to the Dance.
As a junior, Derrick has one more year to see if the Cougars can further their magical ride. The media loves him, his coach loves him, other coaches love him, and apparently so does SLAM magazine. In this month’s issue, there’s a small blurb calling Derrick Low “the go-to guy for the grind-it-out Cougs.”
Much love D. Low and good luck next year.

Hmmm, is that a compliment? Was the announcer dissing the native Hawaiian people with that “poor” reference? Kau inoa!
