Half Watched Dancing with the Stars
Since I was at a dinner party, I could only half watch Week 6 of Dancing with the Stars. Couldn’t hear the music or critiques too good, just saw the expressions of the judges and dancers.
Sabrina Bryan and Mark. I heard Len mention his light and dark juxtaposition thing again and as usual, he’s right. Must be the impatience of youth where the young couple want to go back to the fast routines after doing the rumba last week and the foxtrot this week.
The ups and downs of Jennie Garth’s confidence. With great choreography by Derek Hough, the dance was fun and enthusiastic. Jennie has to keep herself zoned in and maintain her confidence. She could be the dark horse this year making the top three.
Did Jane Seymour give a concession speech after her performance? Again I couldn’t quite hear, but I thought I heard remarks about what a great experience DWTS has been – a usual sign you’re on the way out.
I was confused as were the judges with Cameron Mathison and Edyta’s samba that featured Native American Indians. Dinner party guests commented about the outfits the pair wore, especially the lack thereof on Edyta. But as my brother-in-law pointed out, forget watching the guy, it’s all about the ladies.
Did Mel B and Maks just jump the shark and peak too soon? Where can you go after a perfect score? While they’re good, I just don’t think they’ll make it to the final three.
Marrie Osmond and Jonathan doing the paso doble? A tough dance, but I did like how she faked another fainting spell in the routine. A little scary but you gotta give props. Could be out this week but I think Jane Seymour will get the farewell call.
Helio Castroneves was allowed to smile during his cha cha cha with Julianne Hough and his strength was renewed.
I’m predicting Seymour out this week then Marrie Osmond then Cameron Mathison. Following that, I’ll go with an upset of Jennie Garth over Mel B giving a final three of Sabrina, Helio, and Jennie.
