Love Fest on the Semi-Finals of Dancing with the Stars
The Week 9 semi-finals of Dancing with the Stars was a complete festival of love with no judge giving a score less than 9. With four couples performing two dances each, there were five perfect scores out of eight dances. Carrie Ann, Len, and Bruno were feeling the love tonight I tell you!
Mel B and Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Helio Castroneves and Julianne Hough are indeed the best two couples in the competition. Each couple received flawless scores for both their performances. Who’ll take the third spot for next week’s finals? This is a tough one.
Marie Osmond had the lowest overall score of the night, and Jennie Garth did receive one set of perfect scores. But, but, but, you cannot discount the PR machine of the Osmond family. From a talent perspective, I don’t think Marie should make it to the finals, but she is definitely a fan favorite and with the recent events in her personal life drawing more sympathy and attention, she might be tough to eliminate.
Jennie continued her roller coaster ride getting the lowest first round score of all the performers but then bouncing back and absolutely killing the cha cha with perfection and attitude. Can her comebacks overthrow the PR machine of the Osmonds?
The best move of the night belongs to Mel B in her Viennese Waltz. Check out her splits going across the length of the dance floor (about 55 seconds into the clip).
