Salivating over Madonna’s Hard Candy
Went on a music buying spree the other day and picked up two new releases – Madonna’s Hard Candy and Sarah McLachlan’s Rarities, B-Sides, and Other Stuff, Vol 2. Good stuff from what I’ve listened to so far.
Hard Candy is full of beats and pounding rhythms and is just fun to listen to. Kanye West, Justin Timberlake, and more make vocal appearances. Good overall pop songs with a little edge to them… sugary sweet like pop songs with some attitude and hardness… Hard Candy, I get it.
I like Sarah McLachlan’s collection since it contains covers of other popular songs (Rainbow Connection, Time After Time, Unchained Melody), has some classics, and beloved remixes (Silence (DJ Tiësto’s in Search of Sunrise Remix).
Check them out, both available for immediate download on iTunes.

Wow, I didn’t know Sarah McLachlan was coming out with another rarities album. I really enjoy her first one, which has the popular “I Will Remember You.” I’m definitely getting the new one.
Was debating about Hard Candy, but I think I’ll succumb.
I got Mariah’s new one which isn’t disappointing if you like her music.

Yes, I love Sarah’s music too. Light some candles, soak in the tub, do my nails… oops, TMI?!? 😉
I like that siren-like quality of her voice.

Sarah is a GODDESS! I downloaded the album the day it came out on iTunes, her duet with Cyndi Lauper is interesting, but the show-stopper is that live version of “Pills” with The Perishers. Did anyone see their shows together a couple years back?
