Bangkok Chef is Awesome
If you’re ever in the Nuuanu area or just craving great Thai food, go to the hole in the wall that is Bangkok Chef. Seriously, this place is built like a garage, but the food is awesome.
We always get a curry (red, yellow, or green) and the pad thai. A new favorite is the chicken larb. I’m not sure what’s in it, but it’s larbilicious. The portions are huge, lasting a few meals and ooh, the different tastes. The curriers are the right blend of creamy, spicy, crunchy, soft, and flavorful.
If you agree, why not leave a review over at WeGoEat.com?

wow, how weird that you are blogging about that place cuz i just ate there! happened to be in the area and as i drove by i was surprised at the crowd inside (easily seen cuz there’s no front wall!). anyway, i had the chicken curry and it was just okay. large portion, but too much vegetables and not enough chicken. i actually thought that they gave me a vegetarian curry cuz i couldn’t find any chicken. it was far more sweet than spicy. if i go again, i’ll try the red curry or the larb.

This is close to my house so I go there frequently. They used to be a vegetable store with just plate lunch takeout but that got so popular so they turned it into what it is now. Get the pad thai and spring rolls. The spicy chicken soup isn’t too bad either.

It's true! I love this hole in the wall…more like garage. They put up new and bright menu up on the wall and the whole operation is lot more sophisticated then it was a few years back. They're super nice folks too. I might just go here tomorrow for lunch!

Just as long as prices don't go up too much then they can have their bright wall mounted menu.
