Look for New Running Shoes
After 72 runs and 209 miles, I think it’s time to replace my Nike Structure Triax+ 12 running shoes. These shoes were great but have recently started to feel soft and spongy like it’s not providing firm support or adequate cushioning. Maybe I’ll get another pair.
Or maybe I’ll take a look at the Lunarglides or Air Max 2009.

I've been using these for about a month – i'm never going back. It's not for everyone, but works for slow runners, like me. (http://www.vibramfivefingers.com/) ; )

functionality is key. the shoe forces you to run with "proper form" otherwise it "hurts"
It's kinda like "pose running form" from Dr.Nicholas Romanov.
Again – not for everyone, but all my back pain, leg pain and foot blisters have magically disappeared. Not to mention I can run longer – the only downside is my pace is slow, really slow.
Another weird observation is your feet "feels good" it feels like you are connected to the earth – sounds weird but true

I kinda understand the being connected part. When I used to play basketball, some shoes with a lot of "air" cushioning made you feel disconnected with the court. Still though, I think I'll stick with my Nike running shoes.
