Visual Comparison of Hawaii’s Election Coverage
I’m not into politics, but when I wanted to follow the latest with Hawaii’s 2010 Primary election online, I had two choices. Which one do you prefer?
About a third of the screen of the Star Advertiser site was advertisements! Meanwhile on Civil Beat, you could glance at poll results, headlines, and discussion in the same screen space. Much better!
While you’re at Civil Beat, be sure to read the grades given to local TV and newspaper coverage of the primary election. I wonder what grade Civil Beat would give its own election coverage?
I must say that I enjoyed Civil Beat’s live blog of the election, reading not like typical news articles, but instead, like… well, a blog. The pictures were fun, the tone was fun, and the insider perspectives from the various campaign headquarters added to the appeal. And geeks know this post was made for tabbed browsing! 🙂
While sort of off-topic, these Abercrombie & Schatz tees are a cool design inspired by the stylings of Abercrombie & Fitch. But, no, I don’t want to see Abercrombie and Schatz modeling in an Abercrombie & Fitch store.

Mahalo for sharing this! As for our own grade, thats up to you & the community. The more feedback the better! We’ll try to adjust to aim for that A! #becivil
