I know exactly what you are talking about! However, i don’t think it is limited to just Borders . . . I’m pretty sure it applies to all big box bookstore bathrooms. The Barnes & Nobles bathrooms are pretty nasty as well (Ala Moana & Kahala).

On my last trip to the restroom at B&N Ala Moana, someone was at the urinal and another person was in one of the two toilet stalls. So, I go to the only available toilet and what do I see? I kid you not, it looked like a scene out of CSI (the Vegas version because they usually have grosser crime scenes). Without getting into to much detail, let’s just say what I saw scared away my urge to “go” and leave it at that.

Sorry for the late comment, but I’m still clearing out my holiday back log of blog posts that I keep track of.

I totally agree with the comment about Barnes & Noble restrooms being filthy. I would walk all the way to Nordstrom to use their restroom instead. I know I’ve said it before but I love those restrooms!

Yep, Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus bathrooms are great. Nordstrom is a little bit far but if we’re anywhere in that area, a bathroom stop is a must.

Personally, I prefer the restrooms at Neiman Marcus. I think it’s the solitude of having your own room that’s why.
