Linkwithin > Outbrain?
I haven’t been collecting data on this but purely by observation, it seems like my previous install of Linkwithin generated more internal clicks than Outbrain. Providing similar services for recommended posts, Outbrain sounded more comprehensive, so I made the switch.
Now I’m not so sure. I recall more clicks recorded from Linkwithin recommendations. There are a few from Outbrain, but much less on a daily basis. Maybe it’s time to change back?

You know, I actually came here to do research on switching over or upgrading Disqus and now I’m thinking about these two tools. 🙂

I like Disqus and its features. Intense Debate is also good, but it looked cluttered (in my already cluttered site). Disqus has been stable and good at catching spam.
For similar post services, Outbrain seems to show the same posts over and over. I’m guessing these are more popular posts in general, but not necessarily as related to the current post. I liked the recommendations given by Linkwithin and thought they were better matches and more varied than Outbrain.

lol, and the time you do research on Disqus, the service has problems over the weekend.
