A Coffee Riddle
What am I? From down under, I am old and white. From the green of the Northwest, I am new yet flat.
Yes, you guess it. The answer to the riddle is a Flat White, now featured on the Starbucks menu. But what is a Flat White you ask?
Here’s another look at the Flat White compared to other espresso-based drinks.
Although the Starbucks menu only lists one size for the Flat White, the baristas allow for sizes larger than a tall (though this may violate a true Flat White). While there’s a hint of sweetness, don’t expect the sugariness of a Creme Brulee Latte or even a Caramel Macchiato. The drink is very mellow, with a nice texture, and easy to drink.
