What Would You Expect on a Restaurant’s Web Site?
Tinkering around with creating a web site for a small, local restaurant on the Windward side. What would you expect to see on a site like this?
- Menu
- Specials
- Contact information
- Hours
- Directions
- Parking information
What else? Thanks for any suggestions.

Looks good.
What about:
catering menu (if available)
products (t-shirts, hats, sauces, cookbooks, etc.)
gift certificates

Good suggestions! Got to keep these in mind. Don’t think there are things like t-shirts, hats, or cookbooks though.
Got catering/party menu and gift certificates.

I may be weird in this sense but I like to read about the restaurant (i.e., when it was established, owners, etc.).

WW, we’re talking restaurant on the Windward side, not gentlemen’s club on Keeamoku.

About the restaurant is good. Got to see if still got that footage from Local Kine Grindz with Braddah Sam. I doubt I can find that tape…
Reviews of the restaurant would be related to this (not sure if can find).
Thanks!

I agree with AAG. Background info on the restaurant would be nice. This would include what kind of food they serve, the atmosphere, etc.
Also….
-Reviews (if available)
-Photos of the interior
-Photos of the food (not usually common on restaurant sites though but something I like to see)
-Seating capacity

most people in hawaii are visual direction-takers, so an overhead map of the neighborhood with landmarks would be better than text directions.
