No AppleTV for Me :(

Looks like I’ll be passing on the AppleTV after its release in February. I really wanted to get one of these, but come to find out, my home AV gear is simply too old for the aTV.

The aTV specifications call for a television that at least supports 720p, but alas, my television is an old school, regular old TV that can’t handle HDTV signals. There’s some discussion about using an older TV with aTV, but possible solutions don’t seem worthwhile.

And I ain’t getting a new TV until old bessie really breaks!
