Leopard Is About to Leap
Apple’s latest Mac OS, Leopard, is about to make its leap on Friday, October 26, at 6pm. Why the specific time release of 6pm? I don’t know, but if that’s a hassle to make it to an Apple Store at 6pm, there’s another alternative.
You can pre-order Leopard from Amazon right now at a discounted price. On Amazon, the single user version goes for $109 and the 5-user family pack sells for $189. Normal price is $129 and $199 respectively.
If you’re really lucky, your copy of Leopard ships right before the release date so you receive your copy the same day of the release. Nice!
So if you want to avoid some hassles, pre-order Leopard from Amazon now.

I haven’t checked on the shipping, but usually items over $20-30 at Amazon qualifies for free shipping. It’s usually the so-called slow shipping but for Hawaii, it’s really not that slow. Since ground shipping isn’t really here for Hawaii, the Amazon slow shipping is like 2-3 days.
