Use Google as a Proxy
Very interesting… Use Google’s translation feature to access web sites through Google. What does this do for you? If your organization blocks or filters web sites, this “feature” could be an answer.
Hmmm… got to remember this… just in case. Of course, as a policy-abiding netizen, I would never think of circumventing security policies (as dumb as they may be. I can access all popular sports and finance sites, but access to tech support sites, blocked!)

Yes, I can see definite uses for troubleshooting. The following tests bandwidth, name resolution, and proper browser operation:
