Countdown to Zyons
After a disastrous and extremely limited Yeezy 700 MNVN “Bone” drop today on Yeezy Supply and Adidas, the countdown to Zyons is on.
Let’s hope there are more than 1200 pairs available of the Zyons

This topic is going to be subjective with differing points of view, but I just wanted to voice my disappointment with Polar Cop. Described as software “redefining iOS checkout automation,” this software went on sale publicly this morning. But due to its popularity, the launch was beset with technical problems and was delayed.
Sadly we will have to delay the drop by 15 minutes due to excessive traffic. Sorry for any inconvenience this might cause

After another delay, this tweet was published about an hour after the original start time.
Due to server issues, once everything is up and running we will issue a 10 minute window before the restock, this should be within the next hour.
Thank you for your patience and we are terribly sorry for the inconvience caused.

At this point, I more or less forgot about this release. But since I had the site’s window open, I noticed that the page had changed to purchase screen. So I entered my information to make a buy and upon submission, I got an error screen, so again, I forgot abou this forgettable release. A few minutes later, I saw that the error screen changed to one of success, and I also got a confirmation email.
That joy was short lived however when Polar Cop commented first on the botched release then made the disappointing announcement.
Those who saw success will be refunded today and we remind you to not buy a copy second hand.

All sucessful orders were cancelled.
Instead of honoring the existing sales, the company decided to alienate the only fans up to that point – those who had made valid purchases. Why would a software company want to estrange those who wanted their product and bought their product? Can’t they just release more copies of the software at a later date (and with more preparation)?
I understand that in these high-demand situations, everyone can’t be happy and satisfied with the outcome. The masses who were waiting for the software and didn’t get a copy were, of course, angered. And now the (potential) advocates who bought the software were also angered with the cancellations. Disappointing all around. As a company, how is trust built when business transactions aren’t honored? Why not turn this into a win-win situation, allowing the purchases to stand then simply releasing more copies for sale at a later date?
In these Rona Times, this Brown Sugar Boba Ice Cream Bar is a popular seller. Found at local markets, finding these frozen boba drinks on a stick isn’t so easy.
Some reviews:
In a totally unexpected move in these Rona Times, the news of the collaboration of The Gap and Kanye West was joined by the surprise release of the Yeezy RNNR. This new silhouette of an organic and futuristic sandal went on sale on Yeezy Supply and quickly sold out.
Sadly, despite my efforts, I could not get a new pair of house slippers RNNRs.
In these Rona Times, the traditional is being challenged and changed. This is epitomized by the recent agreement between The Gap and Kanye West. Yeah, that Ye, that Mr. West, that former Gap employee who is now the creative director of Yeezy Gap.
The hope is that this ten-year agreement can and will revive the traditional ins-tore shopping experience, bringing:
modern, elevated basics for men, women and kids at accessible price points
while reversing the recent closure of physical stores like this former Banana Republic in Ala Moana.
Now my only question is if my next Yeezy shoe will come from The Gap?
I know that selling pools on the mainland is very lucrative as the heat of summer and isolation of COVID-19 prevails. But I didn’t think pool selling would be popular in Hawaii since we’re essentially in the pool called the Pacific Ocean.
But after seeing this in Target going to a single customer, pool selling in the 808 must be a thing.
During these Rona times, this is earth shattering news that everyone must stop to listen to.
BTS, the internationally beloved Korean pop group sponsored by Samsung, tweeted a post from an iPhone, and the internet is losing it
Yes, this is important news.
Going through Amazon Photos with unlimited storage for Prime members, I came across this picture of Nitrogenie opening at Ala Moana. This photo is dated November, 15, 2015 (and taken with an iPhone 6).
Don’t recall how long they lasted, but lines were long for some time.
While shops continue to reopen at Ala Moana, many still remain closed. So when shopping at Ala Moana, it doesn’t have the same feel to it. Returning shoes at Footlocker, you are greeted by these signs and maybe a line if there are more than 15 customers inside.
The inside of the Starbucks Reserve is like a mixed maze of graduation celebration.
But the saddest sight had to be this – the former location of Banana Republic.
For years, Banana Repeblic held that corner spot marking the near end of the mall before the Ewa Wing ever existed. More importantly, Banana served as the hidden pathway between the second and third levels using their wooden staircase.
If you need some variety in your cravings during these Rona times, be sure to check out Halfsies Cookie Company. Based in New York, these guys churn out cookies daily that sell out in a matter of seconds. If you want them, you gotta move fast, and they do ship throughout the US.
Though costing $22 for 12 half-cookies, the cookies themselves are good sized and packed with flavor. Take a look at the vacuum-sealed sampler pack.
Now then, don’t be disappointed if you miss out buying your cookies. Just keep trying daily then finally enjoy!
Who woke up this morning with lotsa love from Footlocker in their inbox?
There are a few more… 47 emails from customercare to be exact. But no, these are not individual orders with a status update. All these emails are for two orders, but I guess Footlocker Customer Care really wanted to keep me informed of the delays.
I feel the love, Footlocker!
Although Ala Moana shopping center is technically open for business, it’s not quite there yet. Many stores remain closed.
The Apple Store is open, and there are several workers outside explaining how to get inside and also taking your temperature.
