Since I must be infatuated with collaboartions, this is also a banger. Check out these OluKai slippers with the local kine Zippy’s motif. That orange is so representative of the Zippy’s logo. Certified banger for sure.

So obviously I’ve been sleeping on Reyn Spooner collaboration aloha shirts. First, there was this Godzilla mindblower paired with the Concepts Air Max 1. Now, I slept again and missed the Reyn’s collab with Kona Brewing Company.

While this design may not be totally my style, I like how it copies the design of the box. I’ve since changed my IG settings to notify me when @reynspooner posts anything.

And yes, this $120 shirt has sold out.

Asurion Does NOT Care

That is what I’m feeling right now. So I submitted the requested paperwork online as instructed. Then I could select a date for a service technician to come out. I picked a date.

Now I learn that that scheduled date was not really scheduled. WHAT THE HECK?

Why would Asurion allow me to go through all these steps for no reason? I can only guess that they don’t care. There was no notification that the scheduled date did not process. It makes no sense.

So after an hour on the phone to track down my Service Request and keep pushing it through, the next available date is in six days. Six more freakin’ days without a refrigerator. WHAT A JOKE.

Really, it’s the takeaway and my opinion about Asurion’s service fulfillment for Home Depot’s Protection Plan. This entire system and infrastructure has failed me even though I followed the steps outlined. How can the company claim they care?

Does Asurion Purposely Forget?

Just like my first interaction with Asurion under the Home Depot Protection Plan, the service company does not have my proof of purchase for my Samsung refrigerator on file. No matter we ran through this in 2019. That’s the time I went to their web site, downloaded my invoice, then resent that same info/file.

This time I scanned in my Home Depot customer invoice and submitted that. Let’s see if this will be insufficient like the first time.

Why do they keep forgetting/losing my invoice?

Tropicana Cruch Cereal for Orange Juice?

Wait, what? We’re not talking about breakfast cereal with a side glass of orange juice. We are talking about OJ with the cereal. Not milk in your cereal bowl – orange juice. Is that really a thing?

Now it is thanks to Tropicana.

Fans must have been ready and waiting because this was only a few minutes after release.

But prior to that “all gone” screen, I got a success.

Nike x CNCPTS x Reyns x Godzilla

Totally unplanned but totally meant to be – collaboration with Nike, CNCPTS, Reyn Spooner, and Godzilla!

Nike and Concepts Air Max 1 in the “Heavy” colorway paired with the Reyn Spooner Godzilla aloha shirt from the Japan Series. Both limited editions, and both sold out.

While I didn’t plan for this pairing, obviously it was meant to be.

PC Build Update 1

Delayed updates but the motherboard, CPU, RAM, and hard disk (an NVMe SSD – first time heard of these) are ready.

Power supply unboxed. Are there enough cables?!?

After three hours of building (and breaks), the assembly begins.

A Real Voice on Krater 96.3

I haven’t been listening to Krater 96.3 in the mornings recently due to the loss of voices. In place of the daily performances of Gregg, Shawnee, and Wayne, there’s now a constant drone of music. Normally, hearing uninterrupted music isn’t a bad thing, but I admit it gets boring fast. Especially in the early hours that sets the day, I don’t mind getting information about what’s to come.

So anyways for about a week since the end, I happened to hear a real (non-recorded) voice on Krater 96.3. Didn’t catch a name, and initially, I thought it was a broadcast from the mainland (like what I think 101.9 does). But the Kona Chang clone mentioned something about Pearl City so he’s in Hawaii it seems. Haven’t heard the voice again for about 20 minutes, got boring once again…

The PC Build Begins!

Had some PC parts available so figured I’d supplement with a few more and build a PC (though I still love my Mac).

I am using this YT video as a reference. Hope it’s enough to get me through this.
