There’s a Black Mamba in My House!
Thanks to Klout and Nike Courtside, there’s a Black Mamba in my house! Well, the poster of the Black Mamba video that is.

Kobe Bryant is the Black Mamba, and “The Boss” Kanye West wants the Mamba’s Nike shoes.
Lookee here, lookee here. Social media influence measurer, Klout.com, has a new partner in the Black Mamba himself. Yep, Kobe Bryant, Nike, and Klout have joined up for a social media promotion. What is it? Not sure yet, but details are to come as Nike Courtside is slowly unveiled.
And to keep things on the up and up. I’m obligated to say:
I was given a free product or sample because I’m a Klout influencer. I was under no obligation to receive the sample or talk about this company. I get no additional benefits for talking about the product or company.
Which offense was worse? Leon Rodrigues driving down the street President Obama’s Kailua compound is at to allude police or basketball teammates, Renardo Sidney and Elgin Bailey, fighting in the stands of the Stan Sheriff Center while watching a game?
But not all together. There was an Anthony “AC” Carter sighting in this highlight reel of JR Smith throwing down a monster slam. In slow motion replay, check out JR’s “Cool Greys” Air Jordan XI.
Are you moving on up to a deluxe apartment is the sky? Only if you stop doing the sprinkler, the cabbage patch, the lawnmower, or the Egyptian on the dance floor and bust out the George Jefferson.
Dwyane Wade channeled his inner Sherman Hemsley in this post dunk celebration.
Just a few years ago when UCLA ruled the collegiate basketball courts, the Tabasco Man knew Love and Love’s future in the League. Kevin Love definitely proved himself scoring 31 points and grabbing an eye popping 31 rebounds.
Much love to K-Love and the Tabasco Man’s love for K-Love.
Of course this is purely hypothetical since Hawaii doesn’t have an NBA team but how far would Club 939 go to entice LeBron James? Would the hottest gentlemen’s club in Hawaii top the offer made by Scores in New York?
If free agent LeBron signs with the Knicks, Scores is promising free access to the club, free meals at its on-site steakhouse, and “other perks.” And don’t forget the huge signing party where the Scores dancers will be decked out in LeBron jerseys.
So Lebron James wins his second (and back-to-back) NBA MVP award, and Nike commemorates this accomplishment of their marquee star with a special shirt. Much respect.
But check out the suggested “You might also like…” section further down the page. Kobe Bryant in the house!
How about suggesting some Lebron kicks or clothing Nike? Where’s the respect? But then again 24 > 23.
Kobe Bryant’s #24 jersey is the top selling jersey for the 2009-2010 NBA season. #24 beat out #23, Akron’s own Lebron James who I would have assumed to be the top seller as his success continues to grow. But not so, and I can kinda see why.
The Lakers also rank #1 overall for team merchandise sold, and I witnessed this frenzy when styling at a game against Golden State. The fan store at the Staples Center was packed, and of course, I had to pick up souvenirs. Though I passed on posing as #24.
On a related note, I’d rather get Lebron basketball shoes over Kobe’s signature line.
Seeing brawls on the basketball court is not uncommon, but when female players are involved? There’s something you don’t see very often. Okay, this isn’t a brawl per se but…
