My First Trenta
For posterity, here’s a picture of my first Starbucks Trenta-sized ice coffee.
It took about 3 hours to finish all 30 ounces, and yes, the cup is nearly as tall as the creamer carafe.

Got an email from the My Starbucks Reward Program, letting me know I’ve hit Gold status (yet again). If I keep going, I can also earn Gold Status for the following year, 2012!
Interestingly, the My Starbucks Reward site provides some stats and a history of Rewards transactions. This stat is kinda scary!
Starbucks Trenta Delayed in Hawaii
Hawaii coffee addicts, you’re gonna start getting the shakes from caffeine withdrawal. I know you were holding back in preparation of the launch of the new 31-oz Trenta size at Starbucks. Sadly, the vastness of the Pacific Ocean was a setback as the cups haven’t yet arrived in the islands.

It’s a new year, and Starbucks is adopting a new look for 2011. Through its 40-year history, Starbucks has had a few logo variations, and here is the latest that will be gracing your coffee cups in March.

Starbucks Has Loose Lids?
Been to two different Starbucks this week and on both cold drinks, the lids were loose.
Not a big deal right? That’s what I thought until I found out how much liquid actually seeps out from under a loose lid! Drips of coffee were randomly falling and my desk coaster was covered. And don’t try picking up the drink grasping only the lid, that’s a spill waiting to happen.
Is it just me or does Starbucks have loose lids? And I think this is better than the previous tight lid forcing you to go big, long, and thick.
