The guilt-free eating during the Holidays is quickly absolved with the setting of New Year’s resolutions. Of course, you’re going to keep your promise of working out diligently and losing those Thanksgiving and Christmas pounds. To help reach these goals, a $140 gift of the Facial Fitness Pao is just the thing.
Along with slimming your physique, keep things proportional by slimming your face using the Facial Fitness Pao. Just bite down, make a head nodding movement, and just keep going for 30 seconds. You can do this at home, at work, or even during your commute to work. There’s no excuse for not having a slim toned face with the Facial Fitness Pao.
All it takes to get fit is this oddly shaped hula hoop called the Step 2. Those huge massaging nubs on the hula hoop directly stimulate your body for some reason or another. Just ignore the possible resulting skin abrasions and bruising.
Step 2
Oh, and because of its “effectiveness,” you need to take appropriate caution when using the Step 2. Consult your physician if you have “serious back, hip, waist, or knew problems.”
Communicating is one of those easier-said-than-done things, especially for big businesses like the Disney Aulani resort. Making sure every employee is on the same page and knows the very latest is just too hard. Case in point, while staycation-ing at the Aulani, I wanted to work out in the fitness center on a Saturday night. The daily calendar said the Mikimiki Fitness Center was closed whereas it had been a 24-hour operation previously.
Relocated
I called the front desk to ask about this and was told the fitness center was being remodeled and that it had temporarily moved to the conference rooms. I asked if it was open and was assured the relocated fitness center was open. So I headed to the conference rooms. There was a wedding going on in the main conference room (good choice of music by the way, hearing John Legend’s All of Me remix and Animals by Martin Garrix) as I wandered around looking for the fitness center. Then I saw this sign.
Re-open
Confused, I asked a worker where the fitness center was since the above sign said it was closed. He replied that all the equipment had just moved back to its original location and suggested I head back to the Mikimiki Fitness Center. At this point, a full day of sun and swimming caught up with me, feeling too drained to work out.
Fast forward to Monday, May 26. The daily calendar announces the re-opening of the Mikimiki Fitness Center starting at 4am. No, I didn’t venture out for a workout at four in the morning, but I did stop by later in the day to see what changed.
Mikimiki Fitness Center
After stepping inside the previously sealed doors, things looked exactly the same as the last time I was there.
InsideLooks the same
I didn’t see any significant changes to the room itself so I’m not sure what the remodeling was all about. All I know is that getting a workout on Memorial Day weekend at the Aulani was not meant to be and that communicating the status (and whereabouts) of the fitness center to the entire staff is just too hard.
Today’s Pulpconnection promotions from Amazon cover health and security. For healthy living and working on your fitness is the Lebert Equalizer bars. With this pair of elevated bars, you can do various upper body workouts against your own body weight. Hey wait, “working on my fitness” sounds familiar… of course, it’s lyrics from Fergalicious!! My body stay vicious (and my mind must be numb).
So am I to believe that by rolling this stick against my tired muscles, its undulations will rejuvenate my body? For real?!? How does it work its magic? I’m tempted to buy one just to see how and if it works.
There’s that line between genius and absurdity, and I’m not sure which side iFit Live is on. Powered by Google Maps, your iFit Live workout on a treadmill can be mapped to real world locations. So you can pretend that you’re running around a lake, down to the beach, or even running in another city. Is that that much of an attraction? I’m not sure.
Seeing your progress on Google Maps is one thing, but seeing real scenery from your run might make this iFit journey more believable. And the service does offer this feature:
complete with stunning high resolution photography of your location on your connected laptop or smartphone
But then this image comes to mind. No thanks, I don’t want to mount my laptop to my fitness equipment.
Oh, but this is cool! When you specify your route with iFit Live, it:
simulates the terrain and actual distance of the route you’ve drawn. iFit Live automatically controls the speed, incline, or resistance, of your fitness equipment, for a unique workout experience that’s both challenging and exciting.
