Rona Wants: Dom’s Dodge Charger
Now that you’re at home with perhaps more time on your hands, this is for you (and me). Coming soon is Lego’s Technic set of Dom’s Dodge Charger from the Fast and the Furious series. Like whoa!
But of course, there’s even nitrous in this model.
Pre-order your next time sink now! Should be $99 when going to Amazon.
Holiday Gift Guide 2019 Kicks Bricks
In the world of kicks, the term “brick” is probably one of the worst terms you can hear next to OOS (out of stock). But this holiday season, this set of kicks bricks will make a fun, alternative gift. If you missed a coveted shoe that went OOS, now you can make your own with these Netmagnetism bricks.
I don’t think these are official LEGO bricks but instead similar plastic bricks, but in any case, making your own Air Jordan must be fun.
Lego Minifigs Series 17
My random pull from a box of Lego Minifigs Series 17 resulted in these winners.
Love the corn guy and the rocket man.
I Almost Missed Christmas
It’s a good thing I didn’t solely rely on the LEGO 2016 calendar. Otherwise I could have missed Christmas this year. Check out the month of December 2016.
According to this calendar, Christmas is on a Friday with December 1 falling on a Tuesday. Really though, December 1, 2016 was on a Thursday, and Christmas is on a Sunday. I guess having 11 of the 12 months accurate is good enough?
Holiday Gift Guide 2015: LEGO Slippers
Any LEGO fan or family member of a fan knows the agony of stepping on the indestructible edges of a LEGO brick. No matter the shape or size, when you step on a LEGO piece, you feel it.
Thankfully, LEGO wants to help prevent these acute accidents by protecting your soles with these LEGO branded padded slippers. Unfortunately, getting these slippers for a gift is extremely unlikely. These are limited in quantity and availability. Only 1500 of these slippers will be made, and they’re available only in France. Even then, you can’t just buy them. They’re randomly given away to online shoppers on the LEGO France web site.
If only UGG partnered with LEGO to make these. Then there’d be a larger supply of ugly but comfortable footwear for LEGO protection. Just imagine those UGG boots in red and yellow!

Not a bad set for $30.
What’s Good at Costco?
What’s good at the Hawaii Kai Costco?
Lego Star Wars Microfighters in sets of three. Typically around $10 each, the set of three goes for $24.99. There are two different sets.
Motorola Surfboard Extreme cable modem SB6141. The cable modem I bought in 2013, but I remember paying more than $75. Looks like the white model from the box.
And if you lost anything while shopping, they have a lost and found box at Customer Service. Is that a gold Nintendo DS I spy?
Oh, and the Christmas stuff is starting to make an appearance…in September.
