It surely takes a man secure in his own masculinity to discuss the topics of manscaping and mankinis. No, not me! Danny Wood of NKOTB, you are that man.
I guess if you can still draw in thousands of females, no one can doubt your manscaping ways.
BTW, thanks to John Mayer for modeling the Borat-inspired mankini.
Recently, I’ve been buying a fair share of digital music from Amazon’s MP3 Music Store. Prices are good with some unbeatable, limited time deals. But besides the MP3 versus AAC formats, there are some other differences between the two music stores.
Check out this comparison of Green Day’s 21st Century Breakdown. Amazon had the digital download for $5, but it’s now $11.99 with 9 customer reviews.
iTunes is also selling this new release for $14.99 but with 3918 customer reviews!
This is a change for Amazon which usually has the majority of customer reviews. In this case, it looks like the music community is more active on iTunes (but I bought the songs from Amazon). ;)Â Wonder which store has a better deal on Eminem’s Relapse.
Whoa, there’s a massive disturbance of female hormones in the Bahamas! But of course! The New Kids on the Block (NKOTB) cruise has set sail with 2100 women (still) swooning for Jonathan, Danny, Jordan, Donnie, and Joey.
Yes, after 20 years, women are willing to pay $1000 for a ticket on the three-day cruise to get more intimate with NKOTB. Sure, the group will perform such legendary hits as You’ve Got It (The Right Stuff) and Step by Step, and there’ll also be lots of pictures and teen fantasies fulfilled. But a thousand bucks to see the (aged) crew performing some of their youthful hits?!?
Must be I don’t get it, but for those digging this new age of NKOTB 2.0, you can follow along via their web site and Twitter.
I don’t follow American Idol but heard that Kris did a cover of Heartless by Kanye West. Seemingly, The Fray also did a cover of the song which isn’t too bad. See for yourself.
Still like Kanye’s original version? You do know that you can pick up Kanye’s 808 & Heartbreak for only $5 for a limited time on Amazon, right? And for comparison, here’s the original version of Heartbreak.
Check it out! Coldplay is giving away a nine-track CD of live performances for free! Get LeftRightLeftRightLeft here.

JPop star Utada was scheduled to visit Hawaii and promote her new album This Is the One. Unfortunately, she’s sick with peritonsillitis and had to cancel.
Don’t let her appearance and JPop background fool you though. Her music is not what you think. On iTunes, This Is the One currently has 1247 reviews and is averaging 4.5 stars! Every song is solid, ranging from ballads to dance tracks.
Even though Utada’s not coming to town, you can get her MP3-format album for only $5 on Amazon for a limited time. You won’t be disappointed. Listen to samples below.
Creative genius Kanye West went ballistic about Twitter and fake Kanye tweeters. Here’s an excerpt of his expletive-filled rant:
IT MAKES ME QUESTION WHAT OTHER SO CALLED CELEBRITY TWITTERS ARE ACTUALLY REAL OR FAKE. HEY TWITTER, TAKE THE SO CALLED KANYE WEST TWITTER DOWN NOW …. WHY? … BECAUSE MY CAPS LOCK KEY IS LOUD!!!!!!!!!
Here’s a screen shot of Kanye’s blog with his entire post (click to enlarge).

Did you catch the Heineken beer commercial featuring Biz Markie’s classic “Just a Friend?” I like the singing cab driver.
